This versatile trio features accordion, mandolin, and acoustic guitar. Each member also plays additional instruments bringing violin, viola, and tenor banjo into the arrangements at times. Their repertoire includes Argentinean tangos, Brazilian choros, traditional jazz, and favorite Italian and French songs. They are available for feature performances, but also perform at formal parties and other events where they are able to entertain as they stroll through the crowd. Trio Alimente has been described as having a unique sound that is lighthearted yet sophisticated exuding grace and charm.

Trio Alimente is:
- John Eubanks (mandolin and guitar) is a veteran of the New Orleans jazz scene playing regularly with Tim Laughlin, and has been a member of the music faculty at Loyola University.
- David Rebeck (accordion, violin, and viola) has performed with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra and is a member of the New Orleans Klezmer All-Stars.
- Dave Bandrowski (guitar and tenor banjo) has performed with Dr. John, Natalie Merchant, Donald Harrison, and the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra.
